Enrichment Session Details

Assessment. Simmie approached me right away when I entered her room to rub on my legs. I spoke to her for a minute before luring her away from me with the wand toy. She played actively with the wand toy and especially loved it when I dragged it under a towel on the ground. When she lost interest in play she came back to me to rub on my legs and her back started twitching and her tail was wagging and there was some minor piloerection on her spine so I did not pet her until much later in the visit when she was no longer showing these cues. She leaned lightly in to head pets. I stuck to the 3 pet rule. She sniffed my knee at one point when I was crouching and her tail started moving more and she was sniffing intensely so I stood up, she huffed once then rubbed on my legs. She stiffened when she heard the door to the break room open. She played actively with the laser pointer all around the room. I ended the visit after a long play session.
