Enrichment Session Details

Simmie played with the catnip socks (rolled in a bit of extra dry catnip) and enjoyed this for the first few minutes of the visit. She played with the bird wand toy, and then went back to the catnip. I tried the clicker training with her regular wet food (no cat treats allowed), but she was not interested, so I desisted. We then had a long pet session, where she lay down on the towel near me and I pet her for a bit (using the 3-pet rule) but petting nose, eyes, cheeks and head. She purred, and came back for more. She was visibly calm while purring and it was a lovely end to our visit.
