Enrichment Session Details

Pumpkin caught my attention when I was interacting with Sunny D. When I came back to see her after I signed her out, I opened the cage and gave her a treat. She accepted it and I gave her 2 more treats but in different spots of her enclosure. She was really responsive to head and neck and chin scratches. I did the 3 pet rule at first. I saw her thrashing her tail around a bit so I decided to pause for a moment. Pumpkin flopped over on her back and curled up her paws to which I asked her: "Are you trying to trick me by showing me your belly? Are you gonna attack me when I last expect it?"

I proceeded to pet her and scratch her head and neck area since she seemed to be enjoying it from the first time. She started purring and kept allowing me to give her scratches in that area. I pet her for a total of 2 minutes around her head and neck. After, I disengaged, and left her a pile of 3 or 4 treats near her and closed the cage back up.
