"Felfel was under the shelf in the middle of the room behind the towel. I sat on the chair and sang to him for a bit. After a while, I put some wet treat on a BS and put it gently under the towel. Initially he hissed lightly, so I stopped. I threw a few dry treats on the side of the stool, and he came out to get them. When he saw me, he pulled back. I spoke to him gently and he came out to the side to eat the dry treats. I tried again with the end of the wand toy; putting wet treat on the end, and he ate in front.
He was not interested in play (tried wand toy under the towel) although I could not see his reaction from behind the towel. I did stay for a bit longer than usual.
