Enrichment Session Details

Felfel seeks affection, but struggles to fully trust. He cannot yet relax his body or leave his hiding spot. He remained in his box, reacting to even the slightest sound from outside or nearby by widening his eyes and curling up. When lowering his head for pets, any sudden noise would startle him and cause him to retreat. His appetite was low, so I offered him treats by hand, he accepted them and looked at me while eating. Eventually, he lay down in his box, closed his eyes, and fell into a deep sleep. He seems to need more time to build trust. He appears sad about being in captivity, suggesting he may have once lived freely in nature
