"Fern came to greet me and solicit pets as soon as I arrived. I perched in her cage and after a few moments she climbed onto my lap. She pushed her head into my hand to solicit pets. Lots of purring. Occasional tail waving so I would institute the 3-pet rule then but she always settled down quickly. Very alert and curious, surveying the room from my lap.
